Good News – Bad News

On November 26, 2012 the United Nations adopted a resolution on the “Glorification of Nazism: inadmissibility of certain practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.” This resolution was voted against by 3 countries and 57 countries abstained from voting.  The three countries that said NO to this resolution were the United States, Canada and Marshall Island.

To see which countries abstained, click here.  The countries that abstained have an A in front of their name.

Even Germany abstained, although they DO already have some pretty draconian laws on the books with regard to “hate speech”.  A lot of countries that abstained were European countries.  Naturally, European countries are probably the ones that our enemies worry about the most.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned, the resolution was adopted.  It just barely got the 2/3 votes it needed with 120 countries voting yes.  What do these tiny countries know of National Socialism?  Do countries like Haiti and India get a say in the policies of OUR country?
